Rotarua - Hamilton - Raglan

Rotarua - Hamilton - Raglan
If you have ever been to Rotarua you will understand why you don’t want to stay for long… It smells like rotten eggs and cow poo. The mountain gives of a wonderful aroma around the city centre, its carbon….
So we stayed overnight, then decided to go to Raglan, as it’s supposed to be one of the best surf spots in the world. As soon we entered Raglan, we got pulled over by the cops! Eek!. He said I was over the speed limit... only slightly, asked for my drivers licence, then asked me to count to ten whilst he held a strange breathalyser next to me. He was one of those cops that you see in horror films, VERY strange…

We went to the local beach which was lovely, small waves, nice to swim in, oh and a beautifully hot day, probably the hottest day so far, it’s the kinda hot weather you have to sprint across the sand to avoid burnt feet! Ouch! Then later on stayed at   beach, but ended up with a parking fine, dam. So that morning went to the town, which happened to havea small summer fate, with some amazing old cars, we had to have a look around before going to see more of this beautiful country.
