Mudflats of Urenui
Not far from New Plymouth, the Urenui River, it was low tide so we decided to go THROUGH the river, as we didn’t think it was deep, low and behold it came up to my armpits! And it was O so cold! But across the other side was the largest creation deep and sloppy mud! A big kids dream! It was great, I couldn’t help but get stuck in! ha! Then we had a mud fight, but is not eary to run away when your feet get stuck in the mud, and you nearly fall over, in the end I just though what the heck! I’ll rub it in my face, it’s good for my skin! I’d do it again anytime, it’s an experience not to miss out on! Then just wash off in the river or the sea J
