Kumara, Kumara, Kumara
Dargaville...the land of Kumara!! and it just so happens, down the road, another farmer is in need of workers for his harvesting. His crops are drowning in the water as more rain approaches, so he needs more people to harvest his Kumara!
Day 1. The rain stopped progress after 4 hours!
Day 2. The harvester & tractor get stuck in the muddy field!
Day 3. Human harvesters!
Yup...the fields were that flooded, we had to walk, dig and pick each individual Kuamra out of the ground, which is not an easy task! Especially when your boots get stuck, its inevitable! I got SO stuck, i fell over and was tugging on my boots frantically to pull them out of the mud. Eventually i got them out, disowned them, and went bare foot!
By this time, Mikko had manged to get a permanent job at Johns farm, taking over from Harley with the farm, work and maintenance.
