Vegie Patch!

If you would like to know how to make your own vegie patch (like mine) all you need to know is… water your plants!

Rather than take my advice…I suggest some gardening books!

But as an amateur gardener I was truly impressed with my hard work, after a few months I had fresh, juicy tomatoes straight from the vine, delicious cucumber full of flavour, peas in a pod so green and tasty!

EVEN… green beans, spinach, Lettuce and peppers too!

It’s January, the schools are quiet and the beaches are busy, it’s the summer holidays and it’s hot, Hot, HOT!

Prime time to top up the sun tan, keep fit, and love life in the great Kiwi Summer!

2012

A year Flies By

...Before you know it

Yep, it’s the 6^th January 2012, we have been here for 1 whole year! Sitting in Heathrow airport really doesn’t feel so long ago and for 26 hours, time stopped as we travelled half way across the world. It’s been such an amazing year. We travelled around the North Island of N.Z for 3 months, lived in a van for 5 months, and explored so many different places whilst meeting so many different people. It’s been an incredible year.

But I think this year will be an even better one, summers here and in 5 months we will be travelling to Europe, Indonesia AND seeing METALLICA at The Download Festival, then coming back here to N.Z

So, the only thing left to say is,

Happy New Year!

Another day, a new year!

The year the world will end! (APPARENTLY) 
But hopefully not, as we have alot of travelling to do! : )

Saturday...

New Year’s Eve

It’s Saturday morning, 8am, time to pack up the van and head to the beach, it’s low tide so there’s no time to waste!

We meet up with Logan (with a truck) and Kev (with a 4WD) at Glinks Gully, before heading across the beach, which was actually half busy! It was the third stream we were heading to and after 10-15 minutes we arrived at our destination!
