Back to the Highway
The Same Evening we headed down from the Bay of Islands towards Whangarei on Highway 1 (where we stopped for a healthy salad break) then back down the highway through Ruakaka, Wellsford and Warkworth. By this time it was dark but soon we arrived in Orewa where we stayed beside the beach until the next morning.
